GERMAN WWII SS CAVALRY SCHOOL, MUNICH PORCELAIN TRAY AND PLATE WITH ACCOMPANYING PAPERWORK.

A very fine quality 52cm long x 29.5cm wide serving platter with the SS runes white on black to one of the upper edges. Manufacturers name on the reverse side ‘Bauscher Weiden’ accompanied by a plate measuring 24.5cm in circumference with the identical maker on the reverse side. Both plates are in most magnificent condition, no chips, marks or staining. Some years ago we bought a small quantity of this porcelain that came out of the SS Riding School in Munich, we have these two items left and still have the original paperwork accompanying them. There is no mention of the porcelain within the paperwork, there is an August 1946 letter from a lawyer in Munich to a Karl Wirtmiller in relation to a lease on an apartment that was given to him by the SS Cavalry School. Also two accompanying letter from the Riding School dated both in July 1943 from an officer at the Riding School to the same Mr. Karl Wirtmiller in Munich and a similar subject regarding the property in Munich is being spoken about. These document s were with the porcelain when we originally obtained it some years ago.
