GERMAN WWII ARMY SINGLE DECAL TROPICAL CAMOUFLAGE M 40 COMBAT HELMET.

Shell size E.T. 64, batch number 344, issued as a standard M 40 combat helmet. The shell has been over painted in a dark shade of tropical paint, we would suggest southern Italy or the Balkans. The army decal is virtually complete with some losses, as can be seen on our web images. The interior is with its original grey paint, the M.40 liner has some damage, two of the tongues have come adrift from the main body but still attached to the drawstring. The helmet is with its strap. which has rotted and broken.
