A very nice example possibly size 58, Customs green construction. No moth damage anywhere on the cap. A matched set of Customs insignia, with its silver and green dedicated Customs cord. This cap never appears to have been worn, the mid green leather sweatband all intact. To make the cap a more snug fit for the wearer a folded section of World War II newspaper has been placed between the sweatband and the main body of the cap, opening the section of paper is a wonderful image of a Heinkel 111 aircraft, swastika to tail. Brown satin lined to the upper inner crown area with a full centre celluloid lozenge maker marked in gold. A mint cap.
