GERMAN WWII 1st PATTERN AFRIKAKORPS ENLISTED MAN’S TUNIC COMBAT WORN.
Upper medium size, first pattern construction four pockets with pleats, five button open collar wear tunic, fitted with its full complement of insignia, totally original to the tunic. A set of slip on mountain green piped shoulder boards, factory applied Bevo woven gold and blue collar patches, the breast eagle is the very first pattern and applied in the correct manner. Iron Cross ribbon to the first buttonhole. On opening the tunic the initials ‘HS’ have been hand applied in cotton thread. This tunic has been combat theatre worn, it is slightly faded and a separate colour can be seen underneath the pocket flaps and collar turnback. To the upper right-hand sleeve as the tunic is viewed a tropical Obergefreiter rank patch is fitted. An opportunity to obtain a North African worn first pattern combat tunic.
