GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE HERMANN GOERING TUNIC AND BELT FOR A SENIOR SIGNALS NCO.

An extremely nice set of tunic, cap and parade belt. Good upper size Luftwaffe officers tunic. No moth damage. White piped collar, white based un-piped collar patches for a Feldwebel. The senior NCO has used his Brown piped signals shoulder boards, which are totally original to the tunic, the centre of the shoulder boards are in the same Luftwaffe officers ribbed cloth as the tunic. Early droop tailed Luftwaffe breast eagle machine embroidered. Iron Cross ribbon to the second button hole. To the lower right sleeve a very nice high quality hand embroidered Hermann Goering NCO cuff title. Hamburg tailors label to interior pocket. At the join of the sleeve and the main body of the tunic some shredding to the lining material. A good size possibly size 57 officers quality ribbed material visor cap, white piped overall. A matching set of Luftwaffe eagle and national cockade. Standard Luftwaffe double oval buckle strap. The peak has the double ribbed edge, commonly encountered on Luftwaffe caps. The light tan interior sweatband showing minor wear use. The upper inner lining in the russet brown brushed cotton, with a full and complete size ‘57’ stamped centre celluloid lozenge with a Berlin maker and date ‘1939’ in gilt below the celluloid lozenge. No moth anywhere on the cap. The tunic and cap is accompanied by an officers brocade parade belt in excellent condition, missing one runner.
