GERMAN WWII NSDAP OFFICIALS GREATCOAT.

A beautiful condition greatcoat in the standard NSDAP brown, the nickname given to these political leaders were The Golden Pheasants. Standard political cloth, excellent nap overall, no moth damage, with a lighter shade of NSDAP cloth for the collar and the reveres of the tunic. Blue piped for Ortsgruppe for the collar with a set of collar patches also blue piped with a single row of gold tress intertwined with swastikas indicating the rank of Blockwart. The armband is the standard high quality NSDAP armband with a machine woven black swastika into the white outer field then stitched to the red armband cloth. Some light moth to the armband. All of the buttons to the tunic are the political type with the political eagle and swastika. The RZM label to the interior pocket is titled ‘PL.MANTEL’ (Political Leaders Greatcoat). A large size stamp of ‘48’ is ink stamped into the inner rear lining panel.
