GERMAN WWII NSDAP GAU LEVEL POLITICAL LEADERS VISOR CAP.

A very nice condition Gau level, which is the second highest level within the NSDAP Organisation. The cap is not size stamped but on test would appear to be 58 or 59. The upper body in the grained canvas-like material, wine red piping to the crown and to the upper and lower section of the brown level centre band. The gilding to both the eagle and the national cockade is excellent, with undamaged enamels to the NSDAP central button. The gold cap cords have toned, lightly political pebbled side buttons. The interior gold satin lining is excellent with an undamaged non maker marked centre celluloid lozenge. The sweatband is of the ersatz material, slightly damaged in the forehead area, with its original RZM ticket visible when lifting back the sweatband. No moth damage anywhere on the cap.
