GERMAN WWII GERMAN ARTILLERY OFFICERS M.36 COMBAT TUNIC.

A very nice condition upper medium size four pocket combat tunic with scalloped flaps and pleats to each pocket. Deep turned back cuffs. One single small vent on the reverse side. Constructed in the heavy canvas type of material, very similar to the captured Italian cloth. Standard dark green officers collar. Fitted with a set of stitch in Oberleutnant shoulder boards with red artillery based waffenfarbe, slight oxidisation to the silver weave on both of the shoulder boards. Heavy bullion wire red artillery centred collar patches. Matching officers wire woven breast eagle with some threads slightly oxidised. Interior pocket with a ‘Max Reichwald, Oberhausen’ tailors label with the Leutnant’s name hand applied with the date ‘21st December 1944’. Unusual to find late war dated tunics. A single interior DRGM marked aluminium sprung loaded clip for the display of an army officers sword or dagger with a neatly tailored hole through the lower left hand pocket as the tunic is worn for the hanging strap to pass through. No moth anywhere on the tunic, damage staining or repairs. All of the buttons are the combat subdued grey painted variety.
