An unissued set of the rubberised leggings normally worn by motorcycle riders but also utilised by many other troops in many circumstances. Slight rust stains overall, all original buttons, buckles, straps complete with its original paper label, which reads ‘LEGGINGS RUBBER PROOFED NO.1A KHAKI SIZE 5 HEIGHT OF MAN 5’6 TO 5’8’ with the maker ‘E.RAFFLES & CO, MANCHESTER 10’. There is also a WD acceptance mark with letter ‘P’ over ‘137’.
