GERMAN WWII SS ALLACH ROARING STAG.

We recently sold the Roaring Stag out of our own collection and have been fortunate to obtain another example, which does have some slight damage and repairs and is consequently priced accordingly. Marked on the base to the designer ‘Professor T. Karner’ model number ‘20’ with the impressed SS runes. There is a visible crack at the joint where the antlers, which were added later in manufacture anyway, the right hand antlers we believe that the tips of the antlers have been repaired. The Roaring Stag is one of the most impressive Allach figures produced in the Allach factory adjacent to Dachau Concentration Camp where Heinrich Himmler assembled some of the finest porcelain artisans within Germany to create this exclusive range of military, political, animal and cultural figures.
