A nice condition pair of maker marked Hussar boots from the Victorian period, complete with gilded spurs, gilt trim to the upper part of each boot with its oval bullion boss. To the interior both boots beautifully gilt stamped with the Royal Coat of Arms, Victorian Crown ‘Peal & Co, Original Waterproof Boot Makers for the Royal Family 487 Oxford Street, London W’. The perfect item to finish off a complete Victorian or Edwardian Hussar officers uniform. The lace around the top of the boots and the boss are in gilt, although they have faded to a silvery colour indicating they are for a Hussar Line Regiment. Please do not ask for sizes, these boots are not for wearing only for mannequin display.
