GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE KAPOK LIFE VEST.

A very good and clean example of the Luftwaffe life vest known as the Kapok-Schwimmweste, the vest retained good colour, some minor spot staining, all of the wooden closure toggles complete, all of the strapping complete, no shredding to any of the sausage like tubing which are filled with kapok, the original printed technical label intact, the kapok life vest was generally used in aircraft of multiple crew size such as bombers and transport aircraft, many images can be seen of this same vest been worn during the Battle of Britain.
