GERMAN WWI 1st or 3rd GUARD ULHAN REGIMENT OFFICERS HELMET PLATE.

A very scarce helmet plate for the Ulhan officers helmet, the majority of the matt silver finish in the lower field is all present with also a good degree of the frosted finish on the highlights, the central guard star has taken a slight knock resulting in a 1 cm section of the white enamel broken away from underneath the scroll which reads Suim Cuique, all of the other enamel in red and green to the lower wreath present, also the black enamel to the central eagle absolutely complete, the threaded screws for fitting to a helmet on the reverse side all complete, a scarce plate.
