BRITISH WWI ROYAL FLYING CORPS OFFICERS PLASTRON FRONTED TUNIC.

A fabulous example of the highly desirable Royal Flying Corps officers tunic of WWI. A nice light sandy coloured khaki, a good upper medium close to large size. Three slight snags very close to the upper left hand buttons, a minor moth nip just below the left hand pocket and one to the breast just below the pilots wings. The tunic is fitted with cloth major’s pips to each epaulette. Very nice padded Royal Flying Corps officers pilot’s wings. The tunic is constructed with fly front, the buttons are hidden. The final closure point of the plastron is by male/female press studs, of which three are fitted. Inner lining complete, one inside pocket, all of the buttons totally original to the tunic.
