BRITISH ROYAL MARINE COMMANDO 1944 DATED BERET.

A very nice condition Royal Marine commando green beret, the coveted headdress of the commandos, complete with its officers gilded badge, the gilt slightly subdued, no moth damage, the size stamp rather indistinct but appears to be size 7 which equates to either 54 or 55 metric measure, clearly marked Kangol Wear Ltd, broad arrow marked and a clear but subdued date of 1944. A highly desirable piece of British commando headdress World War II.
