GERMAN WWII EARLY LUFTWAFFE DROOP TAILED EAGLE.

A very rare early dark blue Luftwaffe droop tailed eagle on a white background. Classic Bevo light weave to the eagle on double thickness material, very similar in construction to the early grey backed parachute smock eagles. We now firmly believe this to be the eagle used on the Air Defence Leaders armband, we were firstly under the impression it was from a light coloured flying jacket or overalls of the Luftwaffe, but evidence has been given to us by well renowned insignia collector in the UK that is is from the Air Defence Leaders armband, we always welcome new evidence.
