GERMAN WWI PATTERN 08 BINOCULARS CASED AND UNIT MARKED.
A very nice condition pair of the binoculars known as the 08 Fernglas, optics generally good but could do with a minor clean, the body retaining virtually all of its field grey green paint finish with some abrasions and minor losses, maker marked to the centre of the frame Emil Busch of Rathenow, the binoculars retain their original neck strap, and all grading markings with the lenses fully adjustable. The binoculars are contained in their original issue case of which the leather and stiching are all strong, all of the rivets holding the case together are complete, with the maker marking the the cased identical to the binoculars Emil Busch, on opening the lid the full paper instructions on the usage and care of the glasses still intact, and stamped to the lid of the container J.R.62. 3.K. 9.
