GERMAN WWI SAXON RGT 108 BUCKLE.

A very rare buckle of Saxon Regiment 108, this has probably been found dug and has been restored, the main brass body of the buckle in excellent condition, the nickel overlay plate having evidence of minor corrosion with a slight CRACK to the lower right hand side. The original double pronged heavy brass belt fixing system is in place with slight corrosion to the brass tube holding the steel axle. Evidence of green verdigris to the rear of the buckle.
