A 37 cm long small gauge telescope, manufactured by W Ottway and Company, mounted on a wood block which has various fitting holes and leather strap fittings indicating that it would have been strapped to a firm base, the upper block of wood painted in green for extra camouflage, the optics of the telescope need cleaning, an interesting object of World War I sniping.
