Good form to the blade and much brightness with original cross grain finish remaining. Manufactured by E.Pack & Sohne with the ‘Seigfried’ logo, with its original leather washer. All of the fittings to the dagger, which include the cross guard, upper pommel and three scabbard fittings and chains are in all matching aluminium and very faint traces of the gold wash to the swastikas remaining in the lower field. Excellent leather to grip with its original grip wire. The chains are marked ‘OLC’. Good leather to the scabbard. To the right hand side of the upper scabbard mount just below the chain fixing area a small section of the aluminium from the upper mount is missing.
