GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE 1ST PATTERN OFFICERS DAGGER.

A very nice and clean all aluminium fitted Luftwaffe 1st pattern officers dagger, non maker marked blade, complete with its leather washer. Slight evidence of cleaning of the blade. The outer edges are perfect, the profiles of the central ridge good. All the fittings, which include the upper pommel, cross guard and all of the three scabbard fittings plus the chains all matching in colour. Virtually all of the gold finish integral to the swastikas on both sides of the hilt is complete, there are some scratches and abrasions, the leather to the grip excellent with its original grip wire present. Some minor abrasions to the leather but no direct damage, with its original portapee knot. The leather to the scabbard absolutely perfect. All of the three lower fittings with their screws intact without any indentations. The aluminium chains, again perfect. Maker marked to the sprung loaded clip ‘OLC’ within a lozenge with an addition brown leather belt loop and D ring.
