GERMAN WWII ALLGEMEINE SS ARMBAND.

A very nice condition as removed from tunic example of the armband worn solely by the Allgemeine SS on the black uniform, standard Red wool armband cloth, without any moth damage, with its overlaid multi-constructed black swastika on white field, an unusual feature of this particular example is that the white field behind the swastika is in a more oval than round form normally encountered also the central swastika is more elongated to fit the oval form, stitch marks either end of the armband indicating where it was sewn together to fit to tunic, some threads remaining where the band was attached to the tunic, the double section machine woven silver on black SS label on the reverse side.
