A nice condition well service used Kriegsmarine junior officers visor cap, the exterior body having one minor moth nip to the crown area at the very right hand edge as the cap is viewed, one minor nip underneath the rear overhang, nap to cloth good overall, the cap is not size stamped but on test is possibly 56, fitted with a very nice set of Cellion eagle and cockade and wire woven rank braid to the front peak, standard gilded anchor side buttons, naval style strap, the shape is the classic Navy floppy style. To the interior the sweatband is of the ersatz variety in paperboard showing much service wear, the inner lining in a herringbone pattern brown colour, with a typical naval style red on white machine embroidered name label “ Limmerle”.
