GERMAN WWII ARMED FORCES WATER BOTTLE.

Aluminium water bottle with the neck maker stamped with date ‘42’. Bakelite screw top. The felt covering has not been attacked by moth but has one slight tear to the material. All of the male/female closure studs holding the felt cover to the bottle working correctly. The leather cradle does show signs of cracking but is still soft and supple and very usable. A maker marked sprung loaded attachment clip. The small drinking cup has at least 50% of the olive drab paint still remaining and is maker marked ‘TPW’ to the groove at the top of the cup.
