GERMAN WWII COASTAL ARTILLERY ENLISTED MANS TUNIC.

A very good condition large size 4 pocket tunic constructed in the classic coastal artillery green. Good nap overall, no visible moth damage. All the buttons are of the field grey green marine artillery type. Two upper pockets with scalloped flaps and central pleats, the two lower pockets with scalloped flaps, the pocket bag is hidden within the tunic. The shoulder boards, which are slip on are of the basic enlisted coastal artillery man with a yellow embroidered flaming bomb and anchor on coastal artillery green background, pointed type. The collar patches are Bevo woven yellow on grey, laid onto a rectangle of coastal artillery dark green cloth then laid onto the tunic, the right hand collar patch has stitches loose at the top of the patch, the left hand collar patch all intact. Standard machine embroidered coastal artillery breast eagle gold on green background, cross hatched stitched to the tunic, factory applied. Iron Cross ribbon in the 2nd buttonhole. The interior’s grey cotton ribbed lining identical to many of the German Armed Forces lining material, maker marked ‘A.Wolter & Sohne’ with a full compliment of size stampings with the date ‘2.41’. Bandage pocket complete. To the upper right hand sleeve of the tunic a coastal artillery gold on matching coastal artillery material green rank stripe for the rank of Marine Artillery Obergefreiter. Two loops for one award to the upper right hand pocket pleat. A good quality example of a large mannequin size tunic for the Marine Artillery, all complete with untouched insignia.
