GERMAN WWII NSKK OBERSCHARFUHRER’S COMPLETE UNIFORM.
A very nice complete and researched NSKK Oberscharfuhrer’s uniform, comprising the brown short blouse, breeches in black, Oberscharfuhrer’s overseas cap, waist belt and cross strap, plus crash helmet. The blouse is in standard political brown, fitted with a single low rank black and white twisted cord shoulder board, all of the buttons to the blouse are silver domed, matching collar patches with the Motorsturm designation of ‘M48’ to the left hand collar patch as the tunic is viewed, to the right hand collar patch the insignia of an NSKK Oberscharfuhrer, to the upper right breast an SA sports badge, to the upper right sleeve a nice upper quality machine woven black swastika on white field armband all machined directly onto red armband cloth, just below the armband is the NSKK 2nd pattern drivers badge in machine woven aluminium wire on black silk, at the very base of the blouse to the rear is an NSKK washed out label, all six of the belt ramps are ‘RZM M5/25’ marked, to the upper left sleeve as the tunic is viewed the nice silver on brown NSKK arm eagle, all of the silver domed buttons are of the removable type, on lifting the collar where the rank patch is situated is a very nice Bevo woven silk label ‘EIGENTUM DER KORPS FUHRUNG’. The black breeches are the in heavy wool, very minor moth nips around the crotch otherwise excellent condition with good nap to the black wool cloth. The Oberscharfuhrer’s cap, standard NSKK form having the Bevo woven NSKK label in silver laid onto a navy blue background indicating that it is Gruppe Hessen, Two NSKK buttons to the front, rank insignia to the side and the large but heavily stained NSKK style RZM label to the interior. The black leather service belt with its correct white pebbled metal NSKK buckle in one piece stamped steel, no maker marks, the waistbelt itself maker stamped ‘Carl Henkel, Bielefeld’, the leather good and strong, with its cross strap being attached to two runners on the belt with their D rings, each clip of the cross strap RZM marked, the leather to the cross strap is slightly worn. To complete the outfit the standard NSKK leather crash helmet having the 1st pattern SA style large eagle plate, some scuffing to the crash pad around the side, two unknown holes to the crash pad just below the swastika of the NSKK badge, complete with its leather protective neck flap, its two side curtains, full liner to the inside, size ‘58’ written to the inside and pencil remains of an owner’s name with its original leather drawstring. Collar patch for the bluse showing ‘M48’ which is Motorsturm 48 from Marburg-Lahn, which is in the State of Hesse, therefore indicating that the overseas cap with its blue background to its eagle and the collar patch on the bluse are all matching to the same Motorsturm.
