GERMAN WWI M 17 TRENCH HELMET.

An extremely good condition, small size 62, the small sizes in any of the M-16 , M 17 or M 18 series of trench helmets are difficult to obtain , this example retaining all of its original apple green paint finish, with its three pad white leather liner system intact, leather soft and supple, missing the inner horsehair pads, fitted with the unusual canvas chinstrap, which has been affected by rust and is very frail where the canvas passes through the helmet strap buckles.
