GERMAN WWII NATIONAL FORESTRY SERVICE OFFICIALS VISOR CAP.

Constructed in the ribbed material in the classic grey of the Forestry Service. Dark green piping to the crown and the centre band. A matched set of forestry metallic insignia fitted with its green cap cords, silver side buttons, standard fibre peak. To the interior the leather sweatband intact, gold satin lining. The centre celluloid lozenge never appears to have been fitted although the stitch marks are present. The different colouring to the centre of the upper inner crown lining is conversant with the lozenge never being fitted. Although not size stamped on test it would appear to be a size 58.
