Volume 1 is a 1st edition 1984, 447 pages of fantastic in-depth information and b lack and white photographs both period and present day of a huge amount of information on the German military structure, condition of service, rank groups, rank classes, dress and dress regulations, weapons used, different types of specialist clothing by specialist units. Somebody has written a price in US dollars on page 3. Volume 2, a 2nd printing in 1992 from the copyright of the original 1986. 416 pages of specific insignia, general insignia, badges for plain clothes, the administration officials of the army, women auxiliaries, Organisation Todt, people’s militia and various other subject. Magnificent written information and both period and present day black and white photographs. Somebody has written ‘Volume 2’ on the cover. Volume 3, 1st edition 1987. 640 pages of special uniforms, a small kit, miscellaneous equipment, small unit weapons, motorised vehicles, flags and standards, signal instruments and much more, all on the German Army of WWII.
