GERMAN EASTERN PEOPLES SUMMER TUNIC.

A very rare tunic worn by members of the RMBO. Standard form of tunic in lightweight material in a light tan colour. Completely unlined to the interior, four pocket construction, two lower pockets of the bellows type without pleats, two upper pockets flap to the chest with central pleats. All buttons to the tunic are of the white metal Eastern Peoples diplomatic style. The grey on brown machine embroidered Eastern Peoples eagle attached to the right hand sleeve as the tunic is worn. Some light moth nips to the surrounding brown cloth with a pair of the rare maroon blank collar patches with twisted wire cord surround to the collars itself. No facility for any shoulder boards to be fitted. To the interior of the tunic a hole had been tailored through the lower pocket for the passing of a dagger or sword hanger and the tunic is complete with its internal sword or dagger hanger with a slightly rusty D ring. All of the buttons on the tunic are of the removable style, cuffs are of the open style with button adjusters.
