GERMAN WWII BRANDENBURG DIVISION SOLDBUCH.

An excellent condition Armed Forces soldbuch with magnificent photograph of the recipient Gunther Rettig wearing his black panzer wrap over tunic with skull collar patches, hatless. The soldbuch issued late 1945, Gunther Rettic was 17. Page 4 shows him being a member of a Panzer Grenadier Division Brandenburg, previously as a member of Panzertruppen Grossdeutschland. Soldbuch issued on the 17th February 1945. Minor details included on pages 5,6,7,8, 8b and 9. One entry on page 18 due to the late issue nature of the soldbuch not a lot more detail in the document. Accompanied by the recipient’s RAD labour service certificate. He would have been involved in the desperate fighting on home soil, possibly close to the City of Dresden.
