GERMAN WWII RAD HEWER.

This dagger from the recently purchased collection of 18 daggers, all of these daggers are and were of the utmost quality, the collector was extremely patient in waiting for the right type of dagger to appear on the market and 16 of the 18 daggers were all by the manufacturer Eickhorn. We cannot express enough the quality of all of these daggers. One of the most difficult daggers to find in anything like nice condition, this example with a mint blade, bright deep ‘Arbeit Adelt’ logo, triple marked ‘Eickhorn Ges Gesch’ plus RAD acceptance stamp. Heavy nickel finish to the one-piece cast hilt excellent. Undamaged stag grips. Correct scabbard with the upper and lower scabbard fittings again heavily plated, no losses, good deep detail to the RAD insignia to the bottom scabbard and the twirl patterns to the front and reverse side of the upper scabbard mount. All of the black finish to the scabbard good, screws all fitted without their heads being turned. The dagger is fitted with its 1st pattern hanging strap. This piece was purchased from Regimentals in the year 2000.
