JAPANESE TYPE 5 TUNIC.

A rare early tunic as worn in China and throughout the war, this is of the high quality mustard coloured wool with two single internal breast pockets and the single stood Mandarin type collar. The tunic is very well stamped to the interior with the typical stampings and the type 5 designation. The tunic is combat worn and shows wear to the lining, dirt and there is some surface moth damage and a few loose areas, however the item remains extreme good for display purposes. These early Japanese tunics are much harder to find than their later counterparts. This is a completely untouched tunic that has recently come out of storage in Japan.
