Guarantee
All items are guaranteed to have been manufactured before 1945 unless otherwise stated, we offer a guarantee that if a customer is not satisfied in any way with the item or items received the item or items can be returned. For U.K. based customers return period within 7 days of receipt of order. European based customers within 10 days of receipt of order. All other parts of the World within 14 days of receipt of order.

Exception 1. All funds paid by the customer with the exception of postage costs will be refunded.

Exception 2. All items returned must be returned in the same condition as received. If there is any disassembly or tampering with items Regimentals reserves the right to refuse refunds.

Exception 3. Any items that the customer wishes to return from out side the European Union, the customer MUST contact us in the first instance before sending the item back so that we can instruct the customer on the correct wording to be used on any customs documents, failure to do this can result in a much longer refund period.

USA Restrictions
We cannot accept orders for de-activated weapons to be posted to the United States. Although it is quite legal for us to export them from the United Kingdom it is against U.S.Federal Law to import them into the United States.

Terms of Gold, Silver & Bronze used
This term is used purely to define the coloration or the grade of a certain award and does not imply, unless otherwise stated, that the item is manufactured from pure gold, silver or bronze.

Payments
Payments can be made either by cheque, postal orders, international money orders. In addition for those wishing to transfer funds directly into our account the following details are available.

In addition any credit cards in either the MasterCard or Visa system plus American Express are acceptable. Minimum purchase charge with any credit card is £25. Any credit card purchases ( except the U.K. based Switch and other direct debit cards) are liable to be levied a 3% extra charge on the overall amount, including postal charge. Unfortunately due to the high commission charges of American Express we have to levy a 4% extra charge with the use of AMEX.We wish to advise that customers using credit cards which are based on U.S. Dollars when viewing our web site have asked to be quoted in U.S. Dollars, there could quite possibly be a fluctuation in the total amount by the time the customer receives his or her credit card statement. The reason for this is that Regimentals is a U.K. based Company and thus operates from its base in £ Sterling. We offer the facility on our web site and catalog for customers to be quoted in U.S. Dollars as a courtesy and ease of understanding our price structure. Because of international currency fluctuations that can happen between the time of point of purchase and the receipt of credit card statements Regimentals cannot be liable for any excess amounts over the price quoted on the web site or catalog.

We also reserve the right to charge the extra amount in £ Sterling to meet the requirements we would need to meet the original price quoted in U.S.$ in the event of a large price fluctuation on 90 day (3 month) layaway schemes.

Please do not send personal checks in any currency other than £ Sterling or U.S. Dollars.

Any cash payment to be made by registered post only for your own protection.

To our USA customers in addition to the types of payment accepted by Regimentals we have found the use of US Dollar travellers checks is the cheapest form of making international payments.

If it is intended by the customer to use Money Orders purchased from the US Post Office only use the International Money Order and NOT the standard Postal Money Order as they cannot be cashed outside the U.S.A and its territories.

Because of the continuing practice of a very few customers ordering items via the web site order form and stating that they will send a cheque or bank transfer and subsequently not doing so, we will NO LONGER accept the order without the back up of a credit card deposit ( minimum 10% ) our website is configured to remove items from sale when a order is sent through via the web ordering system this is to protect the buyer so that his or her items will not be sold to another party, in future if ordering by any method,phone , fax , E Mail or the web, we will only withdraw the item with the credit card deposit

Due to the increase of Internet fraud to which we have been subject to we will require extra identification from new first time customers on orders exceeding £ 500 , we will require either a household utility invoice and or driving license, and without fail a land line telephone number as addition to a mobile telephone, the paper utility bill and or the driving license can either be faxed to us 01462 713925 or scanned and e mailed to mail@regimentals.co.uk

Postal charges
When purchasing from the shopping basket of this web site the total amount of your invoice includes all of your shipping charges whereas prices quoted directly from us are subject to postage charges quoted separately. However, Regimentals reserves the right to surcharge any orders that are of an extreme weight outside of the pre-computed weight tables preloaded into the web site.

Overseas Deliveries
Regimentals cannot be responsible for any Customs duties and taxes levied by the Customs organisations in the Country of delivery. Regimentals will not be held responsible for the delivery of any goods that are ordered from any country that has restrictions to the import of items that are considered prejudicial to the state or that countrys views.

Shipping Methods
After 20 years of business mainly postal, we have found that the best overall service at sensible cost to customers is the British based Company - Parcel Force. Parcel Force is the now privatised parcel division of the old state owned Royal Mail. Although they have limits on compensation Regimentals carry our own private insurance policy to cover all goods in transit without any limits.

Any customer wishing us to use any of the other private parcel delivery companies will have to leave a credit card number with us accompanied by their written authority to use the credit card number to cover all costs for shipping no matter how long after the parcel or parcels have been delivered, in the past we have billed at least two months later for duties levied by overseas Customs authorities.

Lay Away Plan
We do operate a scheme whereby items can be reserved on a 25% deposit and the balance paid over a 12 week period. During this period the item or items in question would be held by ourselves. There are no interest or extra charges included in this scheme. Minimum purchase of £100. In the event of a customer changing his or her mind during the course of the 12 week period the 25% deposit will not be refundable. Please note that in the event of a currency fluctuation during this 12 week period Regimentals reserves the right to surcharge the customer in the event of exchange rates working against Regimentals. In the event of the exchange rate working with the customer the gross price of the item will, of course, be reduced in the favour of the customer.

Sizes
We generally do not offer items by specific size. We do our best to describe an article as either small, medium or large, these are only guidelines and items returned on the basis of not fitting will not be accepted. All sizes in this web site and catalog are given in Imperial measure i.e. feet and inches.

Armed Forces Discount
To take up the offer of our 10 % discount to serving armed forces members of the coalition, which encompasses all of the NATO countries , we need to see in scan form or any other form the presently issued military identification card.
